Where can I rent your bikes?

We have two bike centres in Croatia. One is located on the Istrian Peninsular in the municipality of Kaštelir-Labinci near Poreč and the other is in Dalmatia in Kaštel Stari, between Trogir and Split. Bike rental is possible from both centres.

Our head office is located in Labinci, Istria. You can visit us here all year round. Our opening hours are dependent on the season, but generally speaking, we are there on weekdays from 8am to 4pm. Our bike centre in Kaštel Stari is open from April until November. We suggest that you contact the centre in advance, as our logistics team is often on the road.

What is the best way to reserve and rent a bike?

If you would like to rent a bike from us, the best and easiest way to do so is per e-mail. In the e-mail you should let us know all the important details for your reservation: From when and until when would you like to rent the bike? How tall are you and what kind of bike would you like to rent (hybrid, MTB, road bike etc.)? Where would you like to rent the bike from? Will you come to collect it, or should we bring it to you? If so, where to?

If you spontaneously decide to go on a bike tour during your holiday in Croatia, just come by one of our bike centres in Labinci or Kaštel Stari and we will sort everything out there and then. To check if the bike that you would like to rent is available, you are always welcome to first give us a call.

Is it possible to have the bikes dropped off at a specific address?

If you would like to have your rented bikes dropped of at a hotel or to another specific address, this is of course possible, for an additional charge. In general, transporting bikes throughout Istria and in and around Trogir is not a problem. However, bikes can only be transported as long as there are vehicles and drivers available. Therefore, the earlier you book a bike transfer the better! Please contact the bike centre directly for prices.

Which pedals do the rental bikes have?

All our rental bikes have flat pedals. However, we can also offer a limited number of click pedals on request and for a small, additional charge. If you have your own click pedals, our mechanics will be happy to help you install them on the bike.

Do I have to wear a helmet?

Officially, it is mandatory to wear a helmet in Croatia. We are happy to provide you with a helmet free of charge. If you are travelling individually, it is your own responsibility whether or not you want to wear a helmet. It is mandatory to wear a helmet on all our organised group tours.

Can we arrange a guide for our tour?

We are happy to arrange a guide for individual tours. However, this can only be done by arrangement and is subject to availability. If you would like to go on a spontaneous bike tour in Istria, you can check with the staff at our bike centre in Labinci if a guide is available.

Do you have cycling maps we can take on our tour?

Yes, at the bike centre in Labinci there are plenty of maps for various cycling tours in Istria. We also have a very experienced team who will be happy to help you out with great advice and insider tips. Feel free to speak to us about anything to do with tours, trails and tips when you come to rent your bikes!

Do you also have GPS available to hire?

We are happy to provide you with a GPS with or without routes preloaded. This, again, is dependent on availability and for an additional charge. Again, the earlier you contact us with your inquiry, the easier it is for us to organize everything you need for your tour.

Is the rental bike insured against theft?

If you are travelling with one of our tour guides, the guide is responsible for the safety of the bikes. Thus, in this case, the bikes are insured. If you choose to travel individually without one of our guides, we cannot offer any insurance against theft at this time.

Can we book a transfer for us and our bikes with you?

As with all the services we offer, it is important that all arrangements are booked in advance. If our drivers and vehicles are available, we will gladly take you from A to B. The exact price will be determined by the staff at the bike centre once they have received all the necessary information and have checked availability. Should we be unable to provide a transfer, we have many contacts in both regions who also have vehicles equipped for bike transport and with whom you can book the necessary transfers. Please feel free to contact us!

What should I do if my bike breaks down/if there is a problem along the way – who can I contact?

When you rent one of our bikes you will also be given a contact number, which you can call in case of any problems or technical issues!
