Terra Magica E-Bike Tour
Get to know the gems of Istria by e-bike!

Starting from the Bike Center Labinci in Istria our tour guide will lead you through quiet side roads to small towns and villages and entertain you along the way with exciting stories of Istria.

The special highlight of this great day of biking is a visit to Grožnjan – a charming, artist city which is sure to leave you astonished by the views, reminiscent of Tuscany, spread before you. Another remarkable place is Motovun, where we will stop for lunch and try the delicious, local food.

This tour is offered on request all year round on any day of the week  with a minimum number of 3 participants. Duration of the bike tour is approx. 7 hours.

This bike tour starts at 9 am from the Bike Center Labinci a few kilometres Northwest of Porec.  On request, we are happy to organise a free transfer between your accommodation and Labinci (up to 10 km distance, min. 3 participants).

The tour begins leading along narrow, quiet roads to Vižinada, from where we will have a stunning view of the surrounding hilltop villages of Istria and the river Mirna, the longest river in Istria.

After a beautiful downhill to the Mirna Valley another climb leads to Grožnjan, where we will have a break and a walk around the old town. Continuing, the undulating road will take us to Oprtalj, where we will have an opportunity to enjoy scenic countryside, typical of Istria.

Shortly after Oprtalj, an amazing, 8km downhill ride leads to the small town of Livade, capital of truffles. Shortly after Livade, a quick uphill ride takes us to Motovun where there will be time to rest, relax, and have a pleasant walk through the old town. Here we will have lunch thanks to great selection of local specialties!

Following the lunch break we will continue on one of the most popular bike trails in Istria; the old railway Parenzana. The Parenzana track will combine cycling through forest and along gravel road until we reach our starting point, Labinci, once again. In total, we will cycle around 70 km with 1200 meters of elevation.

• lunch
• drinks

Minimum number of persons: 3

Please bring the following:

• money for lunch & drinks
• medicine if you are allergic or asthmatic
• if desired, your personal bike saddle (it will be fitted to your rental bike by our guides)
• if necessary, a jersey or a T-shirt to change as well as a wind or rain jacket

Good to know
This tour is a moderate bike ride with some climbs and descents. A basic fitness level as well as the safe control of a bike are therefore presupposed.
