The start and finish are near the old town of Labin, the cuisine and wine (eno and gastro) here are full-blooded Istria – read phenomenal.

The Labin area is full of great cycling locations. The Skitača area is actually a peninsula (on a larger peninsula, Istria), and it was named after a small town at the very end of the peninsula. And the hamlet of Skitača was named after the tramps who used to hang out there. And that’s where we’ll be cycling.
