Do you enjoy escaping the bustle of the city on your bike? Riding in through scenic landscapes on a mtb? You enjoy diverse and variable terrain? Then our Labinci E-MTB half-day tour is the perfect challenge for you!
The tour starts and finished at the Cycle Croatia Bike Center in Labinci and leads you through the prestine forrests of Istria and over rolling hills through the famous Mirna Valley. You can expect a scenic tour through nature, a few challenging hill climbs and great MTB trails, most of which are also suitable and enjoyable for entry level mountain bikers. More challenging sections are all avoidable.
The tour duration is approx. 2.5 hours and can be confirmed on request for a minimum number of 3 participants.

Labinci – Markovac – Observatory Tićan – Vrh Lašići – Vrbanovica – Labinci
(28 km, 500 m of elevation, MTB Level 1-2)
The starting point of this tour is at 10 am at the Bike Center Labinci, where our experienced tour guide will set up the bikes for each individual participants and perform a tour briefing outlining the ride and remind you of the local traffic rules.
After the introduction, we start our ride along a gravel track in the direction of Markovac, past the famous Parenzana Railroad path. We continue along quiet trails which wind their way through the forest, to the Tićan Observatory. From Tićan we can enjoy our first downhill trail of the day, suitable also for mtb novices, with an exciting variation of terrain.
Our tour continues along a combination of gravel tracks and paved roads, through the small villages of Deklevi, Baškoti, Vrh Lašići and Baldaši. From Baldaši we leave the paved road and follow trails through fields and olive orchards, before diving into the forest on our way to Vrbanovica. Here we can enjoy an epic downhill trail. Suitable for beginngers and fueled with fun, we follow the trail into the Mirna Valley all the way to a small wooden bridge that crosses an inlet of the Mirna River. After this adventurous dash, we can enjoy some easy pedalling across the farmland plains, riddled with water channels, and dotted with sheep. The sound of frogs, ducks and other rural animals accompanies us on this section of the ride.
Our tours leads us across a bridge before taking us up a steep gravel climb to the paragliding launch site on the Sabadin Hill. Our efforts are rewarded with an amazing panoramic view across the Mirna Valley as we enjoy a short break. We can enjoy a second reward after the break as we take off down a short but adrenalin filled, technical enduro trail built by the local MTB community. It will certainly paint a smile on the face of more experienced riders. Rdiers who do not feel comfortable on this section of the ride can dismount their bikes. We then continue on our way through the small suburbs of Kaštelir back to Labinci. The start and end point of our tour.
The total biking distance is approximately 28 km with 500 meters of elevation gain. Duration of the tour is approx. 2.5 hours. The tour can be confirmed on request for a minimum number of 3 participants.

This tour is a moderate bike tour with several steep climbs and some tehnical and challenging downhill trail sections. Riders are required to have a basic level of fitness as well as previous mountain bike riding experience for the correct handling of the bike in various terrain.
